Established 35 years ago, Weldlec have been providing our clients with a first-class engineering and fabrication service and have completed hundreds of projects on time and within budget using our manufacturing facility, stable and skilled workforce and considerable knowledge and experience at management level.

Our work is produced by skilled, time-served tradesmen including coded welders, platers and mechanical fitters. Our tradesmen have a wealth of experience in delivering the contract requirements of clients from a broad range of industry sectors. They are equally capable of operating from our fully-equipped fabrication workshop or on-site at client premises.

Complete Turnkey Solutions
Weldlec has the structure and systems to manage large turnkey projects from all industry sectors.
With a dedicated project management team alongside a well-versed quality team, capabilities stretch from simple small projects to full scale Engineering projects requiring high levels of welding qualifications and quality documentation.
As well as complete project management Weldlec also offer complete supply chain management, from raw material supply, proprietary items, painting, testing etc… The complete project of manufacture, build and commissioning can be handled under one roof.
Our dedicated Manufacturing department has a highly skilled fitting / fabrication team for small projects through to large turnkey projects.
With a long history in mechanical engineering and fabrication Weldlec is well placed to handle complete solutions, involving qualification to high quality standards within many sectors.
With competences in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding and fabricating the majority of projects are handled under the same roof that they were both fabricated and machined, reducing external handling and optimising work load for the best lead times.
Project Review, Planning & Communication
Successful project must have excellent communication between all parties throughout the life of the project.
Weldlec start all projects with a project management meeting and the creation of a project plan to ensure all parties have ownership of the task in hand and agree the respective timescales and key milestone markers.
Manufacturing
Weldlec has extensive in-house manufacturing facilities including both machining and fabrication. The company is known for its ability to manufacture complex bespoke items, however in addition it manufactures many batch products.
Inspection
Weldlec have extensive inspection facilities. All products are inspected either at the end or throughout the manufacturing process to ensure conformity to specification/drawing.
Fabricated products and welds are inspected in a number of ways, including Visual, MPI, DPI, Radiography and Ultrasonic inspection.
Fitting and Assembly
Weldlec has a large open plan, assembly area where skilled fitters and engineers assemble products after they have been manufactured.
Testing and Customer Signoff
Depending on the nature of the project and the client’s requirements, Weldlec will perform the necessary client performance tests before the equipment is despatched. Where required, Weldlec will build a purpose-built test rig, to simulate the product in its intended operating environment. The customer is invited to witness these tests. Typically, testing involves, Mechanical cycle and/or load testing, Electrical performance / verification testing and Pneumatic and/or Hydraulic testing.
Identification/Traceability, Boxing & Packing
Traceability, depending on customer wishes which is often mandatory for many items manufactured by Weldlec.
Welding & Fabrication
Our team of experienced fabricators and coded welders consistently deliver to client’s specifications from our fully equipped workshop. Our fabricators are highly experienced enabling us to engineer challenging projects whatever the size. In addition to carbon steel and plate fabrication, our team is well experienced in working with stainless steel, aluminium, copper and cast iron. Our capable craftsmen produce high quality products designed to your exact specifications including a variety of finishes such as galvanized, painted or powder coated to ensure the protection and enhance the look of your project.
STRUCTURAL, ARCHITECTRAL, PLATFORMS, WALKWAYS & BRIDGES
At Weldlec Ltd, we specialise in steel fabrication of Structural Steelwork, Architectural steelwork, Bridges, General metal welding & Fabrications, platforms / walkways, overhead lifting beams, Balustrades, Fire escapes, Machine Guards and mezzanine flooring systems.
We will design, manufacture and install at site, virtually all types of fabrications in mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium.
SHEET METAL WORK

Pipework and Fabrication
We work with carbon steel and stainless steel in varying sizes and complexity.
Weldlec will totally manage and Design any new installation or project from start to finish.
Our Coded welders / Fabricators are fully equipped to manufacture all types of Plate and pipework sections including Tig Welded Stainless Steel, Jacketed Stainless-Steel pipework, Gas, Steam, Air, Hydraulic, and utilities pipework.
We have a professional approach to providing pipe fabrication services and a structure to enable us to provide a complete turnkey fabrication service including Preparation of Fabrication Drawings and Isometric drawings, the procurement of all required materials, complete pipe fabrication includes marking, cutting, and welding as per the required codes and standards, welding to the highest required and relevant code using certified welders.
Weldlec also is an experienced supplier & installer of complex pipework. We can offer the full package of design, manufacture and installation.

Site Maintenance & Skilled Labour
Weldlec is a highly experienced engineering support services company with a wide range of technical skills.
We offer a supply of skilled individuals for shutdown, maintenance outages, projects and installations with Time Served Skilled Fitters, Welders and Fabricators available.
We provide comprehensive maintenance and after care to our clients, covering inspection, reactive maintenance, servicing and repair of plant installations and equipment.
